Operation could not be cleted. Either the printer name was typed incorrectly, or the specified printer has lost its connection to the server

  • in windows First, check if the "Print Spooler / Spooler" service is up and running on the remote computer.
  • If this is already the case, and if the computer runs Windows 2003 Server or higher OS, check in the Group Ploicy Editor if the print spooler accepts remote client connections. Follow these steps:
  • Start  command prompt, Execute, "gpedit.msc"
  • Browse to "Computer Configuration" / "Administrative Templates" / "Printers".
  • In the right pane, double-clic on the policy"Allow Print Spooler to accept client connections".
  • Enable this setting, then Apply.
  • Then restart on the remote computer the "Print Spooler / Spooler" service in order to take changes into account.or restart computer
